2. Scope

This data privacy statement applies to the PiSA sales app and the associated online provision, content, functions and services within the operating systems supported (iOS, Android, Windows), including the web application. By using the app, you agree to the scope of these provisions. Please read them through carefully.

3.  Processing personal data as part of the use of the app

In principle, personal data must be entered:

  • for the log-in, username and passwordUsername and password are already stored in the database and are solely certified with the log-in. Creating a user by entering personal data is not possible with the app.
  • when contacting PiSA sales, email address and contact details.

With the use of the app, personal data is accessed as part of the relevant use (CRM system) and troubleshooting (support) which are only available on specially protected servers.

It lies in the nature of its use that entries for creating data records are automatically linked with the data of the user logged in. This information is also protected.

4. Collection and use of data

PiSA sales collects personal data only where that it is provided by you on a voluntary basis and where such collection is permitted by law or covered by consent.

Personal data are information that relates to an identified or identifiable person. This includes, above all, information that makes it possible to draw conclusions about your identity, such as your name, telephone number, address or e-mail address.

If we collect, save or otherwise process your data, we do it on our own specially protected servers. If the purpose of the collection / processing no longer exists, the data will be deleted or blocked.

Data entered by users

To use the app, it is necessary to log in.

The log-in must be already present in the server’s database and is just verified.

Even before logging in, you have the option of adjusting your own settings; this does not involve cookies. These settings will remain in place for the next log-in. Using functions in the app management of your device (empty cache), you can delete these settings.

5. Disclosure of data

PiSA sales will not disclose your personal details to third parties. PiSA sales reserves the right to use or disclose data where this is necessary for compliance with laws, regulations or statutory requirements, particularly for the protection of the integrity of the app or to support investigations by law enforcement agencies or investigations on matters relating to public safety.

6. Push notifications

The app uses push notifications which you can determine, change or completely disable yourself in the app at any time. We explain below, separately for each mobile operating system for which we provide the app, how enabling or disabling push notifications works.

  • iOSOpen the iOS application “Settings” and choose the item “Notifications”. In the menu that follows, you will find an overview of all apps installed on your device that have a Push Notification function. Select the PiSA sales app. Here you can enable and disable the push notifications.
  • AndroidOpen the application “Settings” in the Android operating system and choose the menu item “Notifications” under “Ringtone and Notifications”. In the menu that follows, you will find an overview of all apps installed on your device that have a Push Notification function. Select the PiSA sales app. Here, you can enable and disable the push notifications.
  • Windows MobileOpen the app settings, which you will find under “System Settings” in the Windows Mobile operating system, and choose the menu item “Notifications”. In the menu that follows, you will find an overview of all apps installed on your device that have a Push Notification function. Select the PiSA sales app.  Here, you can switch push notifications on or off.

7. Permissions

For some functions, the app must be able to access certain services and data on your device. Depending on which mobile operating system you use, this may sometimes require your express access permission. We explain below, separately for each mobile operating system for which we provide the app, which permissions the app requests and what they are needed for.

a) iOS

Push Notifications: If you answer the request “allow push notifications” with OK, you allow the app to notify you of certain events by push notifications even if the app is not being used at that moment. The information can be sent using sounds, messages and/or symbol indications (an image or a character on the app icon).

Mobile data: This function enables the app to download and update data outside a Wi-Fi network using mobile data connections (e.g. GSM, UMTS or LTE).

If you answer OK to the request “may the app access [... the app in question or a service] on your device”, you allow the PiSA sales app to access the app in question or the service.

Access to the camera: Access is required for taking pictures, recording notes, importing pictures e.g. from emails and distributing media (Share documents).

Access to libraries: Access to libraries (e.g. Gallery, File Manager etc.) is required for image and file selection of media and files stored on the device.

Access to contact lists: Access to the contact lists is required for recording contact details from business cards (OCR transfer into the contact list) and then transferring them to the CRM system.

Access to the file system: Access to the file system is required to set up the database and manage the data as cache storage (plugins).

On the file system, the app can change or delete file system content, read file system content: These functions enable the app to cache content on your device. This is necessary to be able to provide content even if there is currently no internet connection. For this, the app only uses its own memory content. Other data on the USB memory will be neither deleted nor changed nor read. The file system is managed in the private area of the device and is thus protected.

The share function "Share with PiSA sales" enables the user to upload files to the protected server, even if they are not stored in the App's own memory content, but externally or in the range of another App. But this is not an automatic action, but an action to be executed, in which the user selects file(s) very explicitly and deliberately triggers their upload.

b) Android

Push Notifications: If you answer the request “allow push notifications” with OK, you allow the app to notify you of certain events by push notifications even if the app is not being used at that moment. The information can be sent using sounds, messages and/or symbol indications (an image or a character on the app icon).

Disable hibernation: The function enables the app to disable the hibernation of the phone (e.g. for displaying videos without switching off the screen).

Switching synchronisation on and off, reading synchronisation settings: This function enables news to be received punctually.

If you answer OK to the request “may the app access [... the app in question or a service] on your device”, you allow the PiSA sales app to access the app in question or the service.
